Renaissance women 𝓃. 𝓅𝓁. women of many talents and abilities in multiple fields.

Who is behind it

Fem Renaissance is a space for intersectional and inclusive feminist journalism, deep reflection, and honest storytelling — created by

, a feminist journalist, narrative strategist, and former United Nations official with over a decade of experience in international development, peace, justice, human rights, and global advocacy.

Inspired by the spirit of the Renaissance, Fem Renaissance investigates the political, cultural, and emotional dimensions of women’s lives across societies, and brings a sharp yet intimate lens to the stories behind the headlines, highlighting how gender, power, and policy intersect in the real world.

What you find here

This platform grew from a personal need: to make sense of change, identity, and womanhood in a complex world — and to share stories that often go unheard. Here, we explore how women live, struggle, grow, and find meaning beyond the headlines and expectations. It’s not about having the answers. It’s about asking better questions — about power, motherhood, relationships, mental health, identity, society, and the small, often invisible acts of courage that shape our lives.

Through the feminist lens, we investigate the silences, contradictions, and human cost behind social progress narratives—amplifying the voices of modern women navigating politics, power, and personal transformation. Our work exists to challenge dominant frames, disrupt tokenism, and tell the truth with clarity and care.

Editorial Values

  1. Feminist First, Not Feminine
We don’t tell stories about women—we tell stories that expose the power structures shaping their lives. Our feminism is rigorous, intersectional, and global.

  2. Narrative with Teeth
We believe in storytelling that is emotionally intelligent and politically sharp. We center lived experience without losing structural critique.

  3. No Neutrality in Oppression
We reject “both sides” journalism when one side upholds injustice. Our work stands unapologetically with truth, dignity, and liberation.

  4. Complex Women, Not Symbols
We challenge the tendency to tokenize, flatten, or idealize women. We are here for real lives in all their contradiction and courage.

  5. The Personal Is Political
We draw the line from domestic violence to foreign policy, from cultural silences to global power games—always through a feminist lens.

  6. Independent but Connected
We are self-funded, self-made, and fiercely independent—but we engage with institutions, movements, and global systems critically and constructively.

A Global Feminist Lens

Born from cross-cultural life experiences and conversations across continents, Fem Renaissance gently invites audiences to see life of a woman as diverse, layered, and evolving — not something fixed or defined by others.

This isn’t a platform for polished perfection or loud declarations. It’s a journal — sometimes messy, always sincere — for those walking their own path and wondering if anyone else feels the same.

If that’s you, you’re in the right place.
